After a less than stellar (ahem...) winter last year, I am delighted to report that we are currently at 104% of median snowpack and at more than twice the snowpack of this time last year.  We have been fortunate to have several significant storms come through - snow is falling as I write - and we're falling behind in keeping the walk cleared to the front door!  Even if you're not into shredding the slopes, this snow is welcome to feed our rivers and reservoirs in the spring and summer.  I hope that in one way or another, you are enjoying this beautiful winter that we're having.  Our youngest finished up her first batch of ski lessons with a cookie race this weekend.  We are happy to take advantage of what living in the Wasatch Back has to offer, because like our friends, clients, and neighbors, we're here for the good stuff!

Skijoring Utah • Soldier Hollow • February 22-23

Soldier Hollow is the place to be for all of the fun and excitement this month.  After the World Cup Biathlon, the venue switches gears to host skijoring.  What's that, you ask? Skijoring is an action packed competition where a horse and rider pull a skier at a fast pace through a course that includes gates, jumps, and rings. Skijoring combines Utah's signature ski heritage with its cowboy roots creating a wild, fast paced, spectacular event.
